AWANA Program

- Meeting Times - CCC AWANA meets at 6:30 on Wednesdays during the school year
at Christ Community Church
- Purpose - AWANA is a program for children ages 3 thru 6th Grade. It's purpose
is to teach foundational information of the Christian Faith, focusing on scripture
memorization, time spent learning the stories of the Bible, learning through play
and fellowship with adults and peers.

- Special Events
- AWANA Grand Prix race - Children will be able to put together a small wooden
car and race it against other cars made by their peers. Great fun, and a good way
to spend quality time with your child. Help is available from the church.
- Chili Cook-off (usually in January) - This is a time to try many types of
chilli, as well as to compete for the best chili made. Proceedes go toward supporting
needs of kids in AWANA.
